McClintock Staff Visit, San Andreas
McClintock Staff Satellite Visit
No, this is not part of the DT’s new space program. It’s a monthly meeting where a representative from Tom McClintock’s Roseville office comes to Calaveras. Since Tom McClintock rarely visits us in Calaveras — we have Matt. Nice guy but he’s pretty much going to be very polite, take notes, and pretty much echo Tom McClintock’s kant. As a comment, I attended a meeting where he mis-referenced statistics from an environmental report. The next month, one of my friends handed him a hard-copy of the report showing in highlighted areas that the report had been mis-quoted — and the following month he referenced the original thing. Very politely, but still wrong.
However, it’s not up to us to make Matt’s life easier. I would encourage you to attend these monthly meetings and speak up about your concerns with the job that Tom McClintock is doing in DC.
These meetings used to be held at the San Andreas library but are now held at the Calaveras Government Center. Specifically at Building E (Building & Planning Dept), in the Sierra Vista Conference Room.
These meetings are usually held on the same day as the CCDCC monthly meeting. But sometimes not. If you’d like to confirm that it will be happening, they’re listed on Tom McClintock’s web site.
