47th Annual Sierra Nevada Arts & Crafts Festival
The Sierra Nevada Arts & Crafts Festival starts with a classic, small-town parade with vintage cars, local businesses, emergency services, schools and civic organizations represented. It starts on the Saturday of July 4th weekend at 10:00 am at the east end of town on Highway 4 and ends at Cedar Center, with a beautiful, live rendition of American the Beautiful. The parade route which is the Arnold stretch of Highway 4 is closed by 9:00 am.
The whole community gets involved, and Highway 4 is lined with locals and visitors alike, enjoying this timeless, traditional parade in keeping with the best of American small town celebrations.
The festivities continue with the Sierra Nevada Arts & Crafts Festival in the grounds at Bristol’s Ranch House Cafe at 961 Highway 4, Arnold CA – a tradition that has been an important part of Arnold’s 4th July celebrations for over 45 years. This part of the event features fine crafts, fine art, gourmet foods, and continuous live entertainment.
Situated among the pines and redwoods at the 4000-ft elevation, the festival features over 50 booths of original crafts & art in all media.
The Arnold Lion’s Club serves an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 7:30 am – 11:00 am both days for just $8.
During the festival, the Ebbetts Pass Volunteer Fire Department serves local Calaveras County beers, and a variety of home-made food booths round out the deliciousness. After the festival, they hold their annual BBQ with live music on Saturday evening – making for a full day of fun!
