November 8, 2022 – General Election
All vote-by-mail ballots must be postmarked by Election Day (Nov 8, 2022) and received by 7 days after the election to be counted (Nov 15, 2022)
No Stamp Needed! All California vote-by-mail ballots include a return envelope with prepaid postage. This ensures that voting is free and convenient for all California voters. After you have filled out your vote-by-mail ballot, place it in the return envelope, seal the envelope, sign on the designated line, and put it into a mailbox or secure drop box or deliver it to a polling place, vote center, or county elections office between October 11 and November 8, 2022, by 8:00 p.m.
