Calaveras County Democratic Central Committee

We are one of 58 Central Committees in California. We operate as a separate entity under the California Democratic Party.  We are allocated  23 regular voting members based on the population of Calaveras County.  We encourage people to join as Regular or Associate Members and to actively participate in our efforts to improve our community through the democratic process.

We are proud of what we have accomplished in Calaveras County over a few short years. There has been a growing excitement among likeminded individuals who have found each other through our local community activities. In 2020 we distributed over 200 yard signs for Democratic candidates throughout the county; we made over 10,000 phone calls for the Democratic Congressional candidate, Brynne Kennedy; we mailed almost 4,000 letters and postcards throughout the county.  You might have seen us on the corner of Hwy4/49 with signs showing what we stand for, not what we stand against. 

Our meetings are the second Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm. They are open to the public and held by ZOOM and/or in person at the Calaveras County Library in San Andreas.  All are welcome to attend.  Join our mailing list and we’ll send you an email invitation each month.
