4. Action Item – Administrative Office (ID # 6066) Approve Board letter to the California Public Utilities Commission in opposition to the proposed 209 area code overlay.

5. Action Item – Administrative Office (ID # 6161) 1) Accept the work of Staples Construction for the construction of the Department of Public Works’ Equipment Service Center Exhaust System as complete; 2) Authorize the Board Chair to sign and record the associated Notice of Completion; and 3) Authorize the County Administrative Office to make final payment to the construction contractor releasing all retained funds.

6. Action Item – Administrative Office (ID # 6166) 1) Accept the work of ACCO Engineered Systems, Inc. for the emergency repairs to the Adult Detention Facility Automation Controls System as complete and find that the emergency no longer exists; 2) Authorize the Board Chair to sign and record the associated Notice of Completion; and 3) Authorize the County Administrative Office to make final payment to the contractor, releasing all retained funds.

7. Action Item – Administrative Office (ID # 6187) Authorize the Board Chair to execute an Agreement with Granicus, LLC to provide short-term rental monitoring, mobile registration and permitting, and tax collection services for the period of June 30, 2021 through June 29, 2024 in an amount not to exceed $148,647.34.

8. Agreement – County Counsel (ID # 6156) Authorize the Board Chair to execute Amendment No. 2 to an Agreement with Colantuono, Highsmith, Whatley, PC to increase the total not-to-exceed amount to $245,000, for ongoing representation in Calaveras County Superior Court Case No. 18CV43460.

9. Action Item – Public Works (ID # 6063) Direct the County Purchasing Agent to issue Blanket Purchase Orders for Brannon Tires in an amount not to exceed $50,000; Foothill Materials in an amount not to exceed $50,000; Valley Pacific Petroleum in an amount not to exceed $65,000; Eastburn, LLC in an amount not to exceed $75,000; Calaveras Materials in an amount not to exceed $75,000; HOLT of California in an amount not to exceed $150,000; Hunt and Sons in an amount not to exceed $155,000; and George Reed, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $865,000 for the period of July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022.
