WHY WE DO IT: OUR CORE VALUES AND BELIEFS
We are a diverse, open-minded group of progressive individuals who fervently seek to act with moral responsibility, personal and public integrity, and human compassion.
We believe in the core Constitutional principle that all people are created equal and deserve equal protection.
That everyone deserves dignity regardless of race, gender, financial status, age, religion, or sexual orientation.
We support the Rule of Law and believe that nobody – not even a President – is above the law.
That an open, honest, and straightforward government protects our rights, above all else.
We believe that people should be paid a fair, honest, and livable wage and be treated with dignity.
We support an open and honest press that is not suppressed by the government or special interests.
We believe all Americans have a right to health care, education, housing, food, and other necessities of life.
And the government should leave issues of personal choice and bodily autonomy to each individual.
We should be good stewards of our land, and it should be protected forever for our children and grandchildren.
We believe in defending our country, but war is always the last resort.
Above all, we believe that "We the People" means ALL the People.
