The Calaveras County Democrats are a dynamic organization of global citizens, dedicated to making a positive difference in our local community and beyond! We accomplish this volunteering on local Boards and Commissions, running for local offices, educating the public on topical social and political issues, and supporting progressive candidates for local, State and Federal offices. We phonebank, we postcard, we walk precincts, we write letters to the editor, we raise money to support candidates and causes, and we have fun together at our monthly meetings and various social events throughout the year. 2023 will be a year of rebuilding our coffers and organizational assets after successful initiatives towards the 2022 elections, and planning for a new round of active engagement in the 2024 election cycle.
